Behind The Mic
I guess I've always been something of a Drama Queen…
Dressing-up, singing into hairbrush microphones, directing Barbie dolls on an imaginary stage and mimicking my teachers’ voices and mannerisms all pointed towards a career in the limelight. With a natural flair for accents and the Portuguese language (thanks to international schooling in Southern Portugal where I was born and raised) my acting and voice talents flourished.
Drama school in London beckoned after A-Levels and I graduated with a Diploma in Professional Acting from The Bridge Theatre Training Company in 2008. Armed with triple-threat performance skills, I acted, sang and danced my way into roles at The London Dungeon and touring panto.
A confidence-shattering event in 2012 brought me back to the Algarve with subsequent career decisions to be made. I always thought I needed to be in a big city to follow my dreams, but as I got my life back on track, voiceovers became my therapy and I realised I could work anywhere.

My small home studio had humble beginnings (imagine a duvet over my head in an airing cupboard). Now, I have an extensive voiceover portfolio including children’s animation, audio books, narration, corporate commercials, radio spots and e-learning projects for clients worldwide.
